Before you book
Questions people ask us before starting a residential site
What does a residential site development actually involve from start to finish?
We handle the full process: survey and ground assessment, planning drawings where needed, drainage and service connections, foundations, access, and the final build work. You receive a single point of contact who reports at each stage rather than chasing separate trades yourself.
Do you need planning permission before you can begin work on my plot?
Not always. Some works fall under permitted development, while others need a full application. We review your plot and its local rules first, then tell you plainly whether consent is required before any booking or site work goes ahead.
How do you price a residential site development project?
We price from the drawings, ground conditions and access at your plot, not from a standard rate card. After the initial visit you receive a written breakdown covering labour, materials and any allowances, so you can see where the money sits.
How long does the work usually take once it starts on site?
Duration depends on the size of the build and what the ground reveals. Small plots can run a few weeks, larger schemes several months. We give you a programme at the outset and update it if conditions change, rather than leaving the end date vague.
Which areas around the country do you cover for site work?
We take on projects across the regions we can reach with our own teams and regular suppliers. When you send your postcode we confirm whether your location falls inside that area, and say so honestly if it does not.
Is your work insured, and what happens if something goes wrong?
We carry the insurance required for site development work and can provide the details on request. If a problem arises during or after the build, we return to inspect it and agree the remedy in writing before any repair is carried out.
